An enormous thank you to everyone who attended this weekend’s hometown CD Release Party in Kennedy, SK. For all the years spent playing the Vancouvers, Calgarys, Winnipegs, and Torontos to officially host the release of an album in a town of 350 was quite the honour – not to mention the same weekend at our 80th Anniversary of the hometown rodeo which my Grandfather began back in 1932. We were fortunate to have 620 CKRM come out and host the evening (see followup interview attached)
We are off to Toronto for a week and then back in Saskabush for a few pick-ups and the Bow Valley Jamboree on August 5 opening up for The Northern Pikes – yep, she ain’t pretty she just looks that way (I think I’ve been looking forward to this gig since I was 9 years old)
Onward, see ya on the road.
